Forgot my Password

TSC Business Solutions is pleased to announce the implementation of Reset My Password for students on WebAdvisor. This new functionality was introduced on August 17, 2013, and allows all UWinnipeg students to reset their UWinnipeg  password on WebAdvisor.  This will greatly reduce the amount of manual password resets processed by staff throughout UWinnipeg, and will greatly enhance our online student self-service solutions.

 

New students: Your user ID and a temporary 7 digit password were mailed to you shortly after you applied for admission.

Returning students: Use the same user ID and password that you have used before for WebAdvisor and Webmail.

If you have misplaced or forgotten your account information, please follow the instructions below.

Your User ID

If you have forgotten your user ID, you can retrieve this on WebAdvisor. To do this, go to the WebAdvisor website and click Log In. On the top left of the page, click What's my User ID? Enter your last name and your student number and click Submit. Your User ID will then be displayed.

Your Password

Your password must be between 6 and 9 characters long and include both letters and numbers. If your password does not meet this requirement, WebAdvisor will not allow you to update your password.

 

If you have forgotten your password, you can retrieve this on WebAdvisor. To do this, go to the WebAdvisor website and click Log In. On the top left of the page, click Forgot My Password. You can display your password hint by clicking I might remember, show my password hint.

If you’re still unable to remember your password and would like to reset your password, select I don’t remember, reset my password. Enter your last name and your student number and click Submit. A list of email addresses we have on file will appear, select your email address and click Submit. A new temporary password will be sent by email to the email address you selected.
