Student Email Migration Complete

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the student email migration.

Students can now access their webmail accounts using the same username and password as before.

Please note that there are reports that some students are receiving an authentication type error when trying to log in.  If you’re receiving that type of error, we ask that you clear your browser’s cache, close the browser and all tabs/open windows, and try to log in again.  If you are unsure how to do it, please refer to your browser’s help files.

As a second troubleshooting step, we ask that you log into WebAdvisor and initiate a password reset.  This will force your webmail password to re-sync with WebAdvisor

Student Email 365

Student Email Migration Update

The Student Email will be migrated from Live@edu to Microsoft Office 365 starting on Monday July 29, 2013. Student email will not be accessible from Monday July 29, 2013 through Thursday August 1 or until the migration process is completed.


Changes to Student Email

Student email accounts will be changing 

Microsoft is retiring the current email system Live@Edu. As a result all student email (username@webmail.uwinnipeg.ca) will be migrated over to Office 365. While the account is being migrated email will be unavailable. All of your email will be migrated over to Office 365. Your username and password will stay the same.
